Tom Whelan checking in to catch up with you - remember me from Pomona 30 years ago?
Been thinking about you lately as I listen to Brad Mehldau, a jazz pianist in the post-Bill Evans vein. At his best, he's great. I remember you introduced me to Evans long ago.
